Find Growler Lake...

Picture
Growler Lake, previously known as Bat Lake and Bear Lake, is located at latitude 45.1460931 and longitude -78.6381173.  To get to the lake, find your way to West Guilford at Kenesis Lake Road (County Road 7) and Highway 118.  From Highway 118 turn north onto Kenesis Lake Road.  Stay on Kenesis Lake Road, passing the West Guilford Shopping Centre on your right and the Cottage Country Log Cabin on your left, and drive 11.3 kilometers from Highway 118 to Growler Lake Drive.  Turn left at Growler Lake Drive and, once through the gate, continue four kilometers to the lake.

Caution: Growler Lake Drive is a single-lane, private gravel road; drive slowly
as you never know what - hiker, car, moose, etc. - is over the hill or around the bend!
